The York County SPCA is currently seeking a part time veterinarian for help in our shelter’s veterinary wing. The scope of work includes medical treatment for our shelter animals along with spay/neuter and other minor surgical procedures. Our environment is fast paced and very busy but rewarding beyond words. Experience in shelter medicine is preferred but not necessary. The York County SPCA is seeking a part time veterinary technician for work in our high volume spay/neuter Surgical Center and our shelter’s veterinary wing. Candidates for this position must have experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must also be self-motivated, a team player, and able to multi-task with limited supervision. Some weekend work may be required.
